Principles and Practices of Adult Bible Study, Part 2

Instructor: Tom Kock

Description:
In this course we’ll continue to explore principles and practices of adult Bible study, exploring both adult learning and adult learners. We will examine the importance of goal-setting and practice doing it. We’ll explore the value of crafting excellent introductions and learn how to do so, as well as how to craft concluding exercises. The course will culminate with each learner writing two new Bible studies in which he identifies how he’s applied various aspects of this course.

Note: The learner does not need to have taken “Principles and Practices of Adult Bible Study, Part 1.” We’ll briefly review some of the principles taught in that class as we begin P&P, Part 2.

During Winterim 2027, this course runs for one week (January 11–15, 2027) from 1:30pm – 4:10pm each day.
