STM students may be able to earn credit for participating in an approved study tour. The number and type of credits available vary by tour and are based on the academic work associated with the experience.
If you would like a study tour to count toward your STM degree, you must declare your intention to earn credit before the trip. Please submit the Study Tour Credit Request Form at least six weeks before departure. Submitting the form registers your intent to take the tour for credit and allows Grow in Grace to coordinate the grading and awarding of credit with the tour leader.
Study tour registration for STM credit is not completed through SIS. After submitting the credit request form, please contact the tour leader directly to request the course syllabus, which outlines the academic requirements you will need to complete for credit.
Upon completion of the academic requirements, the tour leader will submit a final grade to Grow in Grace, and the appropriate credit will be added to your STM record.
There is no additional STM tuition charge beyond the cost of the study tour.
